Problematika zátěžových situací a předcházení stresovým faktorům u příslušníků HZS

Abstract

This undergraduate thesis deals with the problems of the strain situations which affect the workers of the fire-brigade. It introduces the definition of demanding life situations and the reasons of fire-fighters’ stress. Furthermore, it points out the physical and psychical exposures during stress. It discusses also the consequences of post-stress situations. In the first chapter, there are explained the basic notions for better comprehension of the topic. Because the preparation is necessary to manage the strain situations, there are specified the possibilities of physical as well as psychical prevention for the members of the fire-brigade of the Czech republic. During working on the undergraduate thesis, there was made a questionnaire for the fire-fighters which is related to the prevention of the stress factors. The responses to this questionnaire served to the confirmation of the hypothesis, which was determined by the goal of this work; namely if the fire-fighters are being prepared for managing stress situations during the execution of their job. Finally, there are summarized the reached goals and the performed assessment by the psychological service of the fire-brigade of the Czech republic.
