Abstract

The aim of this work is to evaluate the financial situation of selected companies using the methods of financial analysis and use this evaluation to propose solutions to improve the current financial situation. The second chapter provides information on selected companies DURA Ltd., which is practiced by financial analysis. This chapter provides basic information about the business, significant developments in recent years and the organizational structure. In the third chapter is a theoretical description of the importance of financial analysis. There are presented methods chosen methods, the individual indicators and formulas for calculations, which are subsequently used for the practical part. The fourth chapter contains the results of financial analysis of DURA Ltd. Includes calculations and comments on individual methods. This practical component is then used for final evaluation of their financial situation. The conclusion summarizes the results obtained from the financial analysis of the practical part of this work. These results are used to evaluate the company and propose solutions to improve the financial status of the company.
