Abstract

This thesis describes the course of an individual internship carried out at NAM system, a.s. During the internship, I was assigned a task focused on the development of a new system for the identification of vehicle users using RFID technology. The work is divided into several parts: a theoretical analysis of the original solution and identification of its shortcomings, the design of a suitable approach and selection of new components, and the practical implementation of the proposed solution. The final part of the thesis evaluates the results achieved during the internship. The developed system is designed to replace the existing solution, be long-term sustainable, easily expandable, and allow efficient integration into the current infrastructure. The entire development was also prepared with regard to the future production cycle and testing processes. Throughout the internship, I went through all key stages of the development and verification of an embedded system ready for mass production.
