The topic of the diploma thesis is the study of a variant solution of the intersection of road II/497 and the local road ul. Za Humny near the village of Jarosov. Specifically, it is the intersection of road II/497 and the local service road of Za Humny street near the village of Jarošov in the Zlín region, where road II/497 is the main road. The study of the proposal for a variant solution of this intersection is based on a traffic engineering survey, an analysis of traffic accidents and an analysis of point defects. According to the results obtained from the surveys,
building modifications are proposed, which are subjected to software tools for traffic modeling. The result is an evaluation and selection of the most suitable solution.
