Abstract

NIKRMAJEROVA, Markéta.: Comparison of the heat released during the combustion of the sample by two different methods. Bachelor thesis, Ostrava, 2021. VSB – Technical University of Ostrava. Bachelor supervisor Ing. Dana Chudová, Ph.D. The work shall compare the calorific value of materials with the total heat released determined by the method of combustion microcalorimetry. Defines the materials to perform the tests and a description of their expected behaviour in thermal degradation. It also contains both a theoretical analysis of the the problen of determining heat of combustion and experimental determination using an oxygen calorimeter and mikrokalorimeter. In the end, comparison of measured values for individual materials is performed.
