Abstract

This diploma thesis is focuses on innovating current security features in train sets with the aim of preventing illegal acts in passenger rail transport. The theoretical part introduces train transport and its history in the the Czech Republic. The practical part is consists of chapters that describes the current state of train set security, followed by the results of a questionnaire survey, a controlled interview, and with the help of analytical methods, the most serious risks were identified. In the last chapter, an innovative proposal was created, which aims to increase the safety of people and property in passenger rail transport.
