Analýza dopadu devizových intervencí České národní banky na export České republiky

Abstract

Abstract The main goal of the master thesis on "Impact Analysis of Foreign Exchange Interventions on the Czech Republic’s Export Conducted by the Czech National Bank" is to determine how large was the impact of foreign exchange interventions on the Czech Republic's export. The partial objectives are to analyse the course of interventions, to determine the main determinants influencing export and to quantify their significance. The thesis was divided into two parts: the theoretical-methodical (second and third chapters) and application-verification part (fourth and fifth chapters). The thesis presented basic theoretical approaches, according to which the current understanding of foreign trade was formed, but also practically applicable, specific economic phenomena. In their validation econometric methods and econometric modelling were used with emphasis on regression analysis. In the constructed model, foreign interventions, in line with economic theory, had in the short term a negative impact on the value of exports. In
