Abstract
The theme of this the diploma thesis is processing phenological data from the station Holenice. In this work, data was obtained from the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (from now on, only ČHMÚ). Data were preprocessed, which meant uniting, complementing and importing them into Oracle Database 11 g Express Edition. In the following sections are described methods for data processing and methods of visualization. In the stage of data processing, correlation between the selected variables was measured. Among methods used for visualization are graphs showing the dependencies between variables, tables with calculated correlation coefficients and automatically generated heat maps. To visualize the data, Google Earth environment using XSLT transformations was used. Basic Web application was also created. In this work, a methodology for filling in missing phenological data was created, methodology for automatic and manual creation of heat maps, and a list of SQL queries to extract data from the database using SQL Developer.
