Zhodnocení použití sypkých sorbentů při odstraňování úniků ropných a chemických látek pro jednotky HZS ČR

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation of bulk sorbents for the elimination of oil and chemical accidents primarily for the needs of the Fire and Rescue Service of the Czech Republic. The first part of the bachelor thesis contains general information about sorbents, their basic distribution and properties. I also presented the procedure for solving the leakage of hazardous substances and the list of used sorbents at the Fire and Rescue Service of the Czech Republic. The methods of their liquidation are also mentioned marginally. The second, practical part of the bachelor's thesis deals with the measurement of individual physical and chemical properties of sorbents, especially the sorption capacity, which is one of the most important properties. Finally, the selection of the most suitable sorbents for use in the units of the Fire and Rescue Service of the Czech Republic is performed, where all important parameters that affect the effective use of sorbents in emergencies are evaluated.
