Rozvoj vidieckeho cestovného ruchu v obci Oščadnica

Abstract

This Bachelor´s thesis deals with the issue of rural tourism and its individual forms. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part obtains essential ideas, contributions and the possible threats of the rural tourism. This part of thesis is specialized for preconditions and barriers to rural tourism in Slovakia, individual programs and institutions deal with area of institutional support. The theoretical part also includes brief description of business enterprising in rural tourism and agrotourism, including the results of this activity, services. Consequently there is emphasize the need for application of destination management and trends in this special form of tourism. Practical part of thesis deals with Kysuce region and its preconditions for tourism. Then the thesis si concentrated on municipality Oščadnica which prospers especially from winter tourism. There is also defined tourism in Oščadnica, separated in summer and winter season. Follow described accommodation and restaurant services and chosen accommodation facilities. At the close there is presented SWOT analysis and proposals for tourism development in municipality. The bachelor´s thesis contribute for enlargement of consciousness about municipality Oščadnica, its interests and possibilities for free time activities, including accommodation and restaurant services. Hereby the thesis could be used for specification and elimination of barriers in rural tourism.
