Abstract
In the presented diploma thesis, the characteristics for the liquid fractionation of hydrocarbon mixtures for the tested properties of heterogeneous solid catalysts after the conversion of synthetic gas to alcohols and other hydrocarbons are experimentally determined. The work also includes determination of explosion parameters of separate pure hydrocarbons based on the analysis of the main components of chromatographic records. Partial purpose of the thesis are to design and test the partial steps of the methodology for generating vapors and determining the explosion parameters of a mixture of hydrocarbons produced by Fischer-Tropsch synthesis. To determine the explosion parameters, a heated 20-liter explosion chamber was used, which is equipped with a system for dispersing liquids, suction and venting for the purpose of the diploma thesis. A series of permanent sparks between the two electrodes were used as the initiation source. For the purpose of this thesis, the standardly used system has been modified for the measurement of liquid hydrocarbon mixtures. In total, approximately 100 experimental records and 65 predicted values were obtained. As the most significant result can be considered the complete determination of all hydrocarbon‘s mixtures explosion characteristics produced by Fischer-Tropsch synthesis for the first time in the world.
