Composting is an ideal type of stabilisation and utilisation of organic waste and at the same time a nutrients source for agro-cultures. It is necessary to fulfil certain some criteria for an efficient composting. The main and primary criteria is to defining a right raw material compost structure, which significantly affects the final compost quality. The first part of this thesis describes the entire process of composting and factors influencing its course.
