Abstract

Cílem této bakalářské práce bylo popsat open source nástroje dostupné pro oblast Business Intelligence a zjistit jejich možnost použití ve společnostech. První část práce se zabývá teoretickým popisem Business Intelligence. Cílem druhé části bylo najít dostupné open source nástroje, srovnat je a ohodnotit jejich vlastnosti. Ve třetí části bylo úkolem vybrat nejvhodnější nástroje pro nasazení do společností podle hodnocení a prakticky je pak vyzkoušet a otestovat jejich funkcionalitu. Závěrem práce mělo být doporučení, které nástroje je možné použít pro reálné řešení. Záměr práce se povedl naplnit.

The aim of this thesis was to describe the open source tools available for Business Intelligence to determine their potential in companies. The first part deals with the theoretical description of Business Intelligence. The aim of the second part was to find available open source tools, compare them and evaluate their properties. The third task was to choose the most appropriate tools for use by companies under evaluation and then to try them practically and to test their functionality. The final part of my thesis should be a recommendation, which tools can be used for real solutions. The intention of work was succesfully completed.
