Abstract

This diploma thesis focuses on the issue of security of user data in internal storage of mobile devices. It describes the forensic methods used by forensic analysts in practice. It describes security of current mobile operating systems Android, iOS, Windows Phone and BlackBerry. Analyzes several freely available forensic tools for mobile devices. Tools are tested on borrowed mobile devices. Describes procedures for carrying out forensic analysis of mobile devices. Verifies the security of encryption in Android operating systems. The results are analyzed in detail. The main goallof this work is to verify the security of user data in practical tests on current mobile devices. In thesis is also designed (proposed) a method of safeguarding the internal storage and also a safe way to remove all user data for each mobile platform.
