Vývoj Home Assistant integrace pro Škoda Connect

Abstract

This thesis addresses the issue of communication between modern vehicles and external applications within the Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystem. The main objective is to design and implement software integration for Škoda Auto vehicles within the Home Assistant platform. The thesis describes the process of developing the solution in Python using OEM online services. The implemented solution allows users not only to monitor telemetry data but also to actively control certain vehicle components remotely. The thesis also includes the design of sample automations and tools for the automatic generation of personalized user interfaces. The functionality of the entire system was tested both through software testing and by testing on real vehicles with conventional, hybrid, and electric powertrains.
