Abstract
This thesis deals with the advent of the General Data Protection Regulation, abbreviated GDPR. It also deals with changes compared to the Personal Data Protection Act No. 101/2000 Sb. The thesis describes the implementation of GDPR in a selected industrial company and specifies the problems that have arisen as a result. The practical part proposes changes and also evaluates the impact of GDPR on a selected industrial company.
