Abstract
This bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of the minimum wage. The thesis summarizes the development of minimum wages in the EU and the Czech Republic. In the examined period 2000-2020, data from Eurostat were used and further processed into the analysis.The work is focused at the systems of determining the amount of the minimum wage and the effect of the minimum wage on the labor market.
