Charakterizace stavebních materiálů na bázi portlandského cementu vystavených zrání v přítomnosti CO2

Abstract

This diploma thesis investigates the accelerated carbonation of cement pastes within the context of Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) technologies. The primary objective was to experimentally verify the influence of increased pressure on the efficiency of carbon sequestration into the cement matrix. Samples with a low water-to-cement ratio of 0.23 were placed in an autoclave at pressures of 5 and 10 bar for 24 hours and compared with a reference sample cured in air for the same duration. XRD, TGA, SEM/EDS, and elemental analysis were employed to evaluate phase changes and microstructure. The results confirmed a direct correlation between pressure and the degree of carbonation, with the highest CO2 uptake recorded at a pressure of 10 bar. This work provides technical data for optimizing accelerated curing processes in precast production.
