Abstract

The effort of this thesis is to describe all the systems that are contained in a car and affect the control of gasoline and diesel engines. The introductory chapter describes the basics of management, a brief description of the engine control unit and description of the control loops. The main topic of this thesis is the management of petrol and diesel engines, so we look at the description of the block diagram of a car involved in motor control. In the practical part are displayed waveforms of parameters specific to individual systems, which are described theoretically, and this leads to a confrontation of theoretical and practical parts. Effort of this thesis is to approach the problems of internal combustion engines to the general public and to facilitate understanding of the often complicated at first sight equipment.
