Vliv digitalizace na pracovní kulturu zaměstnanců ve výrobním závodě

Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis examines the impact of digitalization on employee work culture in a manufacturing plant. The aim of the thesis is to analyze how employees perceive the implementation of digital technologies and how this process affects the work environment, communication, cooperation, and relationships with management. The theoretical part defines the concept of digitalization in the context of Industry 4.0 and characterizes employee work culture from an organizational and social perspective. The empirical part focuses on the manufacturing plant of Kimberly‑Clark s.r.o. in Litovel and is based on a combination of a quantitative questionnaire survey, qualitative structured interviews with managerial staff and internal documents analysis. The research results indicate that the perception of digitalization differs depending on employees’ job position, age, and level of digital competencies. While administrative and managerial employees generally evaluate digitalization positively, production workers more frequently point out increased workload, stress, and insufficient support. The thesis confirms that the success of digitalization is not determined solely by the technical level of implemented solutions, but primarily by effective communication of changes, proper change management, and alignment with employee work culture. Based on the findings, practical recommendations are proposed to enhance employee engagement and improve the management of digital transformation in a manufacturing environment.
