Návrh znovuvyužití brownfieldu Bauhaus a městská jatka v Ostravě

Abstract

This thesis is concerned with design and reusing of brownfield Bauhaus and city slaughterhouses in Ostrava. The historically and architecturally valuable complex operated until the 70s of the 20th century. Today, the state of the complex is in very poor structural condition. Remnant of the complex is on the list of heritage-listed buildings. The first part describes the history and current status of the territory. It is a natural, socio-economic and territorial-technical conditions. Followed by a chapter on the proposal for a new functional use of the site of interest in three alternatives, the best option was chosen using SWOT analysis and opinion polls. Another part can be considered as practical, which goes mainly to evaluate the best solution based on the proposed alternatives, and the complex functioning of the entire site. The practical part is completed by evaluating the costs of revitalization.
