Abstract

The issue of investments and its funding is now one of the most common topics for discussion at the business meetings among potential investors. Ideas with the theme of when, how and upon what to get rich or what to make a living by, worries almost every adult, both natural and legal person. The basis of this study is an investment project for the construction of Adventure Golf course in Frenstat pod Radhostem. I am herein dealing with an analysis of the situation on the market of services that satisfy customer's demands on sports, relaxation and funny activities. The situational analysis precedes the financial analysis carried out to determine the extent of an economic effectiveness of the project. An important point of this study is the decision about the resources of the equity used for project funding, that will affect any further calculations as well as its evaluation. I have outlined the consequences of an improper ratio of own equity and someone else's equity. Nowadays, conditions for business traders are becoming more favorable and, precisely, such type of business my work is dedicated to. As an activity, the Adventure Golf is relatively fresh and not well known, but very popular among the experts. It is a scaled-down version of the classic golf course, and everybody can have a try at playing the game. Thanks to the versatility of this kind of sport I have chosen it as the subject of this study.
