Využití detektoru DAVID pro verifikaci IMRT plánu v reálném čase

Abstract

Unlike single point verification of classic in-vivo dosimetry, today with help of DAVID system it is possible to verify the radiation plan in the whole width of the irradiated area. The DAVID system is a multiwire ionization chamber, which measures dose below leaves of a collimator. Mostly it is used for IMRT, which is based on field modulation by multileaf collimator. This thesis researches possibilities of the DAVID system for verification of patients’ radiation plans. The thesis goal is to gather data for planning system, creation of radiation plans and their verification with help of the independent methods. The second verification system was OCTAVIUS Seven29. The measurement has been performed with the linear accelerator TrueBeam by Varian company at the oncology department of Nemocnice České Budějovice a.s.
