Abstract

ONDROVÁ, Michaela. Ballistic resistance of materials under extreme conditions. Bachelor thesis: VŠB - Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Safety Engineering, Department of Security Services, 2018. Supervisor of bachelor thesis: doc. RNDr. Karla Barčová, Ph.D. This bachelor thesis deals with influence of extreme temperatures on ballistic resistance of outdoor materials. In the theoretical part ballistic category focusing on external ballistics and terminal ballistics are described. In the practical part used weapon, munition and tested materials are described, as well as ballistic devices used for experimental works and simulations of extreme conditions. The following chapter includes photographic documentation of the experiment and results are commented in conclusion.
