Abstract

The thesis of bachelor work is described the processing of slag generated in the production of iron and steel. The first part is about history of Czech metallurgy. This section is also included in the manufacturing process of raw iron and steel. The second part deals with slag blast furnace and steel mills. This section is about developing the slag, and processing characteristics. The characteristics of the slag is mentioned chemical, physical and mineralogical composition. The next section has discussed the secondary use of slag in various industries, mainly in construction and in the glass. Finally the results of the analysis of blast furnace slag.
