Abstract
This thesis deals with the computation of deformation tensor on the contact of tectonic plates. This deformation tensors are derived from global movements of the plates. Global movements of individual tectonic plates are defined by rotation vector and they are derived from velocity vectors of stations, while there is used a solution from ITRS2008 model. The first chapter deals with the description of formation of the IERS and its parts ITRS and ITRF. Afterwards there is mentioned a derivation of the vector theory of global rotation. The next chapter describes theory of small deformations – stress tensor and deformation tensor. The remaining chapters deal with the actual processing and assessing the results of the stress tensor on the contacts of tectonic plates with their shifts.
