Abstract
The diploma thesis describes the design of digital model of production technology and evaluation of discrete simulation. It also describes the possibility of using a processed digital model to design and validate PLC algorithms. The main part of the thesis deals with the virtual commissioning of the production technology through the connection of the Tecnomatix Plant Simulation and TIA Portal programs using PLCSIM Advanced.
