Tvorba studijních materiálů z geoinformatiky pro střední školy

Abstract

The bachelor thesis includes the creation of worksheets covering subject of geoinformation for high shool teachers and students. Worksheets are created for work in open source softwares and with the help of freely available data. Part of the reserché was the listing of currently available materials of geoinformatics. The survey identified the preferences of high school teachers. Further analysis of these preferences defined the key topics of worksheets. The created educational materials provided in the .pdf files and other necessary data for the elaboration of some tasks are available on the created website. The website includes an introduction to the field itself and various freely accessible web applications that display various spatial information processed using geoinformation technologies. It is accessible for free for the public, especially for high school teachers and students. Newly created educational materials can lead high school students to become familiar with the field of geoinformatics and can help high school teachers to incomporate tasks from that field into their teaching.
