Současné trendy v získávání R-materiálu a jejich vývoj

Abstract

The theoretical part of the diploma thesis is devoted to the issue of R-material, methods of its obtaining and processing. Attention is also paid to ways of renewing the aged asphalt binder. The types of recycling are also described here, namely the cold or hot recycling on site and or in the mixing centre. The practical part is focused on tests on mixtures of R-material which are divided into whole mixtures, smaller than 2 mm and larger than 2 mm, so a total of eighteen samples are tested to determination of grain size, shape index, asphalt binder content depending on the content of fine particles. Aggregate degradation due to mechanical wear based on different crushing methods is also determined. The conclusion of the diploma thesis is the evaluation of the experiment, the selection of the most suitable mixture of the R-material for the new abrasive mixture, supported by consideration of the conditions under which the mixture can be used. In the conclusion, there is also a recommendation for a possible continuation of the experiment.
