Abstract

The subject of this dissertation is to verify the options for securing the railway crossings P8297 and P8298, which are located on Railway Line 321 in the defined area of Havířov – Ostrava Bartovice. In the introduction, we learn about the affected surroundings and current crossing conditions. Next follows an analysis of the individual options for securing these crossings – from using grade separation to completely eliminating the crossing. These options are evaluated, and the most secure and suitable option is described. In conclusion, a final recommendation is presented.
