Využití strukturálních fondů EU pro znevýhodněné studenty

Abstract

This bachelor thesis is aimed at “The Use of EU Structural Funds the Disadvantaged Students” and namely the European Social Fund. The first part of the thesis describes the EU economic and social cohesion policy. Terminology used in the field of the disadvantaged students and the handicapped is also a part of this chapter. The second part introduces the Centre Sunflower for disadvantaged students at the Faculty of Economics of VSB-Technical University of Ostrava and outlines its development and main activities. The last part evaluates the projects implemented at the Faculty of Economics and supported by EU structural funds as well as the results of own research how universities in the Czech Republic use these funds.
