Abstract

The master thesis is concentrated on rock slope locations that threaten property and human health by rock collapsing. Due to the infrastructure development there is often unprofessional intervention into the rock slopes where there is no or underestimated necessary maintenance. This thesis studies the prevention of rock collapsing in order to avoid the threats to property and human health. Buildings, facilities or linear buildings located near by the rock slopes are often threaten by rock collapsing. Methodology Rock Slope Rating brings systematic and simple approaches with consequent recommendations of rehabilitation procedures of rock slopes, which can be also evaluated. The research of rock slope stability and consequent rehabilitation along with regular maintenance can help avoiding huge investments in the future. Nowadays, it is necessary to rehabilitate the dangerous locations threaten by rock collapsing efficiently and with regular maintenance. Methodology for evaluating the threat allows us to control the danger of rock slop stability. With the information most of the locations can be secured. Considering brownfields and other locations close to the rock slopes, investors often face the rehabilitation problems and from the financial reasons usually do not execute the proper rehabilitation. The evaluation program of threats and consequent rehabilitation allows us to actively solve affected locations. Rehabilitated locations are much more attractive for investors and can easily find their purpose.
