Abstract

This thesis deals with frequency converter for converting ultrasound to the audible band. The frequency converter is implemented on the basis of heterodyne receiver. The introductory chapters describe the superheterodyne receiver from the input circuits, preselectors, following oscillator and mixer circuits, to output signal processing circuits. The basic properties, classification, description and possible ways of interference that can affect radio receiver are also characterized there. The following chapters illustrate the design of the individual units of the converter in detail. The selection of components for implementation is discussed there as well. Also described here is a gradual assembly of the blocks on the construction to a functional product. The conclusion deals with functionality verification of the finished frequency converter.
