Strategická analýza vybraného sportovního klubu

Abstract

The bachelor's thesis is devoted to the strategic analysis of a selected sports club, which is HB Ostrov Havlíčkův Brod. The aim of this work is to evaluate the position of the club HB Ostrov Havlíčkův Brod in the table tennis environment. The monitored period for the fulfillment of the work goal is the years 2018-2022. Two analyzes were used to achieve the objective, namely PEST analysis and SWOT analysis. At the same time, Porter's five forces model and the VRIO method were used to fulfill the goal. It was found that the sports club HB Ostrov Havlíčkův Brod has a strong position in its industry and it is very difficult for competing clubs to achieve this position under the current conditions. Club HB Ostrov is advised to continue building its current position. Other clubs should be inspired by him and try to catch up with him
