Analýza nakládání s komunálním odpadem ve městě Vrbno pod Pradědem

Abstract

The diploma thesis analyzes the current system of waste management in the town of Vrbno pod Pradědem. Based on this analysis, changes to the current system have been proposed, which should lead to a reduction in the amount of mixed municipal waste that ends up in landfills. This reduction is essential for the economy of waste management in the municipality, due to the increasing fee for landfilling. The diploma thesis describes a total of three variants. In the first two variants, I focused on the system of recording the amount of waste per citizen and year. The main motivation of these systems is the reduction of financial costs of citizens, provided that the amount of SKO produced by them is reduced. Another option is aimed at improving the sorting of biodegradable waste, which is largely represented in mixed municipal waste. By introducing this system, I assume a reduction in the amount of BRO in mixed municipal waste and thus a reduction in the costs of SKO disposal.
