Abstract

The aim of this diploma thesis is to evaluate the development and implementation of selected industrial product on the market and to determine its profitability. The opening chapter presents company, in which the investment was realized. The thesis further consist of two basic parts – theoretical and practical. Theoretical part characterizes conception of investment, capital project and its classification. The methods for evaluating the effectiveness of investments are described in the following subsection. In the practical part the evaluation methods were applied for the particular company. Subsequently, the individual results of the calculations were evaluated.
