Vícekriteriální zhodnocení fungování profesionálních divadel v České republice

Abstract

This thesis deals with multicriteria evaluation of professional theaters. The aim was a multi-criteria evaluation of professional theaters between the years 2011-2019. The evaluation was carried out using technical, performance and financial indicators, which were applied to professional theaters of the Association of Professional Theaters of the Czech Republic. The association unites 39 professional theaters out of a total of 205 theaters without seasons. These 39 theaters were divided into three groups according to how many genres they deal with and to what extent. Theaters of the Czech Republic have a total of 178 permanent stages, of which professional theaters manage a total of 88 stages. The total attendance of all theaters in the Czech Republic is relatively stable, despite the fact that some theaters recorded a decrease in visitors. In 2019, all theaters were visited by approximately 6.8 million visitors, of which more than 3 million visited professional theaters of the Association of Professional Theaters of the Czech Republic. Interdisciplinary theaters had the highest average financial self-sufficiency for the period 2011-2019, at less than 38 %. In terms of subjective evaluation, interdisciplinary theaters performed best with an average mark of 2,16. In the end, all the obtained results of selected indicators are recorded and formulated as a whole.
