Posouzení ochrany zraku před laserovým zářením při použití vybraných brýlí

Abstract

This thesis examines the protection of eyesight against laser radiation when using selected types of safety glasses. The theoretical section focuses on the fundamental aspects of laser radiation. It includes a brief overview of the history of the laser, a description of its main components, and its operating principle. It also addresses the classification of lasers according to their hazard level and describes the effects of laser radiation on eyesight. The practical part of the thesis focuses on experimental measurements of the spectral transmittance of selected eyewear to determine how individual types of eyewear attenuate radiation from various laser sources. The aim of the thesis is to experimentally verify the effectiveness of various eyewear models in terms of their ability to attenuate laser radiation at defined wavelengths. TÍŽEK, Lukáš.
