Optimalizace sítě pro IPTV technologii

Abstract

This thesis deals with the adjustment and optimization of the metropolitan network for a local Internet provider, which requires the implementation of IPTV to the existing topology. The diploma thesis is divided into a theoretical part, analysis part of the current state and part of network design. The theoretical part deals with the issue of audiovisual services, the specifics of IPTV, security, quality of service and network architecture. The following section analyzes the current state of technology in the company, its goals and requirements for the organization. The final part consists of network design, where I use the acquired knowledge to optimize and modify the topology and selecting the appropriate network elements.
