Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the use of lean production tools in a selected company. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis explains not only the concept of lean production, but also the lean enterprise. He also briefly mentions the history of lean manufacturing. It also describes the individual tools and methods of lean production in more detail. In the first chapter of the practical part, the company and the production program are introduced. This is followed by a presentation of production processes to which some of the selected lean production tools will be applied. The current efficiency of the production equipment is listed here, but the company's experience with lean production is also described. In the subsequent part, lean production methods are selected, the introduction of which could lead to an increase in the efficiency of the production line. At the end of the work, a recalculation of the productivity of the production line is presented after the adoption of optimization proposals and an evaluation of whether the measures taken had an effect on increasing the efficiency of the production line.
