Abstract

This thesis focuses on methods of evaluating suppliers. The theoretical part deals with the purchase as a business function, as well as purchase planning, strategies and objectives. The bulk of the work is devoted to the evaluation of suppliers in general and the different methods that we use when evaluating vendors. The practical part details the application of theoretical knowledge at a specific company with the aim being to streamline existing methodology for the evaluation of suppliers.
