Abstract

This diploma thesis inquires into the analysis of the current automation transducers market in the Czech Republic, which was elaborated for a Czech distributor of current transducers. The main goal of this thesis is to analyze the market environment in the branch of the current transducers for industrial automation, identify the main competitors and also characteristics of the customers. The first part of this thesis includes basic market characteristics and theoretical data used for the environment analysis. The analysis of the acquired data, which targets the customers, competitors, offered competitive solutions and the market situation, is accomplished in the following part. The SWOT analysis of the present situation is accomplished at the end of this thesis and is coupled with identification of new customers, main competitors and with the arrangements, which could help the distributor to cope with the market conditions. The accomplished analyses are based on the data obtained from the questionnaire survey, interviews with the experts and the secondary data.
