Abstract

Bachelor thesis is a summary of remains, of mining roofing slate in Bruntal region. The work is deal with the geological development of Nízký Jeseník, history, methods of mining and a description of the interesting objects, that are defunct or are still preserved. Also deals with the petrology of rocks in the Moravian-Silesian Culm and then petrology clayey slate itself. The aim of the thesis is to describe the history of the objects at the time of mining, but also a description of the current state and designing their own route that will lead the most interesting remains of the roofing slate mining.
