Využití bypassových cementářských odprašků v deskách na bázi dřeva pojených minerálními pojivy

Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the use of cement bypass dust (CBPD) as a partial cement substitute and a potential setting accelerator in the production of cement-bonded particleboards. The theoretical section summarizes their origin, physicochemical properties, and the interaction between wood and cement, focusing on the inhibition of hydration by wood extractives and the principles of action of setting accelerators, primarily chloride-based ones, which are naturally present in high concentrations in CBPD. The experimental section is devoted to the characterization of wood dust and its influence on the hydration processes of cement mixtures containing a wood component. Based on the results, formulations with partial cement replacement were proposed and test specimens were prepared, for which selected mechanical properties were evaluated. The aim of this work is to verify the ability of CBPD to eliminate the retarding effects of wood and to assess their suitability as an ecological and economical alternative to conventional chemical admixtures.
