Abstract

This thesis presents the elements of the remote-controlled overhead high voltage distribution networks, which contribute significantly to the improvement of electricity supply. Describes the different elements that are an integral part of these systems. Types of networks, their properties and operations are discussed in chapter two. It also contains requirements for the distribution network. Chapter serves to acquire basic knowledge about the operation of distribution networks. The third chapter, called the remote-controlled disconnectors in outdoor medium voltage networks, describes the basic parts of the system types, the possibility of using available systems, remote-controlled stations. The fourth chapter, bearing the name of the possibility of substituting the existing section switch remotely controlled components, deals with remotely controlled switches and recloser and description of their properties and technical parameters. Using other automation components in outdoor medium voltage networks deals the fifth chapter. Describes the types and the possibility of using different fault indicators, change electronics resettable sectionalizers and inteligent fuse disconnectors. Last, a fifth chapter, shows the illustrative use of remote-controlled elements in the network, and computing time ROI and cost savings for the not delivered energy.
