Abstract
The aim of this thesis is to acquaint the reader with the evaluation of structural characteristics and properties of long-running X20CrMoV 11-1 steel. This thesis consists of theoretical part and practical part. The theoretical part describes the characterization of steels for power engineering, their distribution and use, as well as the mechanisms of structure degradation during observation, overview of test methods for evaluation of structure and property degradation. The practical part is focused on experimental material, its chemical composition and properties after long-term operation. Furthermore, sampling for evaluation of structural characteristics and properties. Subsequently, the structural analysis and results of the experiments, including their discussion and evaluation
