Abstract

The theme of the thesis is to assess company´s performance of Hobes, spol. s.r.o. and possibilities of its raising. The theoretical part describes the financial analysis, basic methods and procedures. They are explained in the absolute indicators, ratios, system indicators and modern approaches. The practical part is devoted to detailed analysis of company´s performance using modern methods of Economic Value Added - EVA. In conclusion it is shown the difference between traditional and modern approaches. The thesis contains future recommendations for maintaining and raising of company´s performance. Economic data from the years 2005 -2009 and graphical representations of selected economic reality are in the enclosure.
