Abstract

The main topic of the thesis deals with the cutting of trees in the woodworking industry. The introductory chapters describe the basic features and principles of automation and description of the current automation lines. The following chapters describe the fundamental weaknesses in cutting of trees on this line, it proposes to optimize the process of enlarging the automation lines of quadrilateral camera module scanning device. Subsequent costing figures which compare the current state and the state after the introduction of the proposed quadrilateral camera scanning device, confirm reduce operating costs, accelerate the production process and rapid return on investment to purchase this equipment.
