Abstract

This thesis is devoted to the study of the optimization of parameters of hydraulic oscillation of mould during continuous casting of peritectic steel. The introduction describes the continuous casting scheme together with the issue of solidification peritectic steel. There are also gradually discussed the basic parameters influencing the hydraulic mold oscillation, including the actual global knowledge of literature dealing with the selected problem. The experimental part deals with the influence of the oscillation parameters on the final surface quality of continuously cast billets of peritectic steel in order to find the best hydraulic oscillation parameters.
