Bachelor's thesis deals with floods in the Oder river basin, focusing on the dry polders. Introduction is focused on defining the basic concepts relating to the floods in the legislative framework, followed by meeting with the Oder River basin, including major flooding. Furthermore, it discusses what it is dry polders, what is the possibility of their use in flood protection and optimization of the current state of the specific flow.
